We're excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Practice Director to lead and support our dedicated teams across both Buchan Vet sites in Fraserburgh and Peterhead. In this role, you'll work closely with our Regional Director to help shape the future of our practices, all while enjoying life in one of the most scenic parts of the UK. The role offers a salary of up to £55k, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
At Buchan Vets, you'll join a friendly and supportive team where well-being and collaboration are genuinely valued. Based in beautiful Aberdeenshire—where coast meets countryside—our practices offer a peaceful setting with a strong local community yet remain close to the city of Aberdeen.
We're a forward-thinking, high-standard practice that takes pride in delivering excellent care and working together as one team. We'll support your growth both personally and professionally, with opportunities to develop your interests and advance your career.
As Practice Director, you'll take on a key non-clinical leadership role, guiding the continued success of the practice while ensuring the highest standards of clinical and client care are upheld. You'll work closely with the clinical team to drive strong financial and commercial performance, acting as a positive role model and leading by example.
This role requires solid experience in managing profit and loss, recruitment, budgeting, HR, health and safety, rota planning, payroll, and team development. You'll also collaborate with reception and nursing leads to support their growth and foster effective teamwork across the practice. In addition, you'll work closely with other practices within the CVS Group to strengthen collaboration and share best practices.
