We have an exciting new opportunity available for a Practice Director to lead the team at Your Vets Rayleigh and Dagenham.

Your Vets Rayleigh and Dagenham are looking for a new Practice Director to lead the two site practice, including a 24/7 hospital.

This role will be key in supporting the strategic direction and leadership, providing:

  • Great people and leadership skills to generate high engagement within the team, region and practices
  • Excellent communication skills delivering all key messages to the practice
  • Working closely with the Regional Director, Operations Management teams, HR, Finance and all other support staff resources
  • Business development knowledge, interpreting financial information, data, and KPI Dashboards
  • Ability to look for new and additional services and build on overall practice and team development

The candidate we are looking for would need to be currently demonstrating:

  • Strong Leadership ideally with a proven track record of line managing people
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to delegate areas of responsibility to others as appropriate, coaching and guiding as required
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Have interest in and good understanding of financial and commercial aspects of the practice with an ability to deliver group initiatives to practice teams, ensuring financial success. 

The ideal candidate would be a progressive thinker with the ability to grow and develop the practice in their care to establish long term success. The candidate would need to be able to support the Regional Director in providing:

  • Creation of robust budgets and consistent delivery of budget
  • Timely management of all issues
  • Good leadership skills generating high engagement within the practice
  • Good communication skills delivering all key messages across to the practice
  • Contribution to the development of the group

 

The role is full time working a minimum of 35 hours per week.  The salary for this position will be £45,000 - £50,000 pro-rata, depending on experience. You will be rewarded with a generous benefits package, which will include:
