We are seeking an experienced, people-focused Practice Manager to join The Old Golfhouse Vets, working across our two friendly and well-established practices. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving our service forward and ensuring our patients, clients, and team receive the very best experience.
About the role
As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of both sites, overseeing all operational aspects and line managing our dedicated team – including our skilled clinical staff. Your leadership will foster a supportive, high-performing culture, ensuring our people feel valued and empowered to deliver outstanding care.
Key responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations across two practice locations
Provide clear leadership and management to both clinical and non-clinical teams
Drive service standards, efficiency, and client satisfaction
Manage staffing, rotas, recruitment, and HR processes
Support and develop team members through mentoring and training with direct line management responsibilities for clinical and non clinical colleagues potentially
Monitor financial performance and contribute to business growth
About you
We are looking for a confident and compassionate leader with previous management experience – ideally within a veterinary, healthcare, or similar clinical environment. You will be a natural problem solver with excellent communication skills, capable of balancing operational needs with people-first leadership.
