7 nights on | 14 nights off 5pm–5am
We're looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated overnight team at Chestergates Veterinary Specialists
This is a fantastic opportunity for an RVN who enjoys inpatient nursing, working as part of a supportive team, and the variety that referral and emergency work can bring.
Your nights will include:
- Providing high-quality inpatient care to a diverse range of referral patients
- Supporting clinicians with procedures when required
- Working alongside and supporting our out-of-hours emergency team
- Monitoring patients throughout the night and ensuring they receive excellent nursing care
- Working closely with our overnight vets, RVNs and Patient Care Assistants
Chestergates is a busy referral hospital with specialist clinicians in:
Orthopaedics • Neurology • Soft Tissue Surgery • Internal Medicine • Cardiology • Ophthalmology • Dermatology • Anaesthesia • Diagnostic Imaging
You'll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of complex cases in a well-supported referral environment.
Referral or night-shift experience would be desirable, but it's not essential. Full training and support will be provided for the right person.
✨ What we can offer

-Training and support for those new to referral or night work
- An attractive 7 nights on / 14 nights off pattern, giving you plenty of time off
