What makes this role special?
As Regional Director, you'll lead our Companion Animal practice teams across a region in the North of England, providing strategic direction, coaching, and operational support. You'll be the driving force behind practice leaders development— enabling them to inspire their team to deliver clinical excellence, team wellbeing, and business performance.
How do you contribute to this:
Lead regional growth, client service delivery, and operational excellence.
Act as a key stakeholder with other areas of the business to deliver client, people and clinical improvements/initiatives.
Drive clinical development initiatives aligned with client needs and national strategy.
Own regional budget delivery and support practice-level P&L accountability.
Champion consistent customer service and clinical training across practices.
Analyse performance metrics to drive top-line sales and EBITDA growth.
Ensure compliance with health & safety, RCVS, VMD, and legal obligations.
Lead regional implementation of new technologies and clinical improvement projects.
Oversee talent development, succession planning, and colleague utilisation.
Promote psychological safety and a culture of learning and inclusivity.
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, absence, and retention processes regionally.
Support property investment, acquisitions, and facility development.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and strategic alignment.
Role model CVS values: empathy, accountability, inclusivity, and collaboration.
This is a home-based role with regular travel across your region and occasional national travel for CVS events, conferences, and leadership forums.
