We are looking for a forward thinking, motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our well-equipped practice with a varied and interesting caseload.
As an RVN you should be confident and ready to provide our client's pets with the best possible care. This is a role that offers the chance to join a very well-established practice with many loyal clients.
Teamwork is important to us - We discuss cases frequently to ensure we get the best outcome for our patients. We are a very friendly, caring and well-organised practice with a team that is eager to learn, change where necessary and facilitate the growth of our employees.
Our RVN's are multi-skilled and are encouraged to undertake schedule 3 procedures. We see a varied caseload in our nurse clinics and we regularly bring nurse led promotions to fruition to benefit our patients and engage our clients.

A purpose-built premises with 3 vet consultation rooms, 1 dedicated nurse/cat room, separate cat and dog waiting areas, prep room and theatre suite with up to date equipment and imaging.
We have onsite parking with a complimentary electric car charging point for staff.
We are based in a beautiful rural county within 6 miles from historic Durham City and approximately 15 minutes on the train from the bright lights of Newcastle upon Tyne.
Salary and Hours:
This is a Full-time fixed term contract working 37.5 hours over 5 days, including 1:4 Saturday mornings.
The salary for the role is up to £30k depending on experience, plus benefits.
