Competitive Salary: £27,800 - £31,000 (pro rata) depending on experience

Life at Robert Jones Veterinary Centre

We are looking for a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team and work 39 hours a week across 4 days with a share in the 1 in 4 Saturday mornings rota.  For the right candidate, we can also consider part-time, flexible applications.

Robert Jones Veterinary Centre offers an exciting opportunity to join a modern, purpose-built practice, providing a fantastic working environment with excellent facilities and a forward-thinking approach to patient care. Conveniently located on a retail park in Blackpool with local amenities on the doorstep and easy access to the M55, the practice is accessible with a strong family-oriented culture.

The team are passionate about professional development and creating a supportive workplace where new ideas are encouraged.  Our facilities include digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, multiparameters, in-house lab equipment, separate cat and dog wards, along with a well-established team with a certificate holder in dermatology, giving you the tools you need to deliver outstanding care.

No two days at Robert Jones veterinary Centre are ever the same, your responsibilities will include:

• Provide high-quality patient care, running wards and monitoring recovery
• Deliver nurse consults and clinics
• Monitor anaesthetics for first and second ops
• Support student nurses in their clinical journey

About you

Our ideal candidate will have some experience as a qualified veterinary nurse and be confident in all areas of nursing, including anaesthetics. An interest in clinical coaching is desirable but not essential.
