Life at Woolpack Vets: 

Woolpack Vets is a friendly, close-knit practice based in the semi-rural village on Buntingford, and they are looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Nurse to join their team. With excellent train links to London, our location offers the best of both worlds - village life with easy city access. 

You will be working alongside an experienced, skilled nursing team and a collaborative group of vets who value open communication and shared learning. We pride ourselves on our family-style culture, where case discussions are encouraged, ideas are shared, and everyone supports each other's development. 

Work-life balance really matters to us - we offer a well-structured rota with no out-of-hours.  Our facilities include multiparameter anaesthesia monitors, dental x-ray, digital x-ray, ultrasound, scopes, an on-site lab, and a client base that knows and trusts us, giving you the tools you need to deliver outstanding care. 

No two days will be the same, you will be:

  • Running nurse consults and clinics
  • Monitoring anaesthesia during operations 
  • Collecting and processing samples in our in-house lab 
  • Building trusting relationships with clients and their pets 
  • Providing inpatient care and preparing for theatre

 

About you:

We're looking for an experienced dedicated Veterinary Nurse with a passion for high clinical standards and client care to join our Hertfordshire team.  

  

  • Be passionate about delivering exceptional careto both our patients and their owners every day.
  • Be pro-active, we are looking for someone to provide an exceptional standard of nursing care to assist our Vets and actively promote our products and services.
  • Support the outcome of patients care in all aspects of clinical work as part of the team.
  • Ensure Quality is maintained by keeping our practice in excellent condition- ensuring quality of care and the best possible outcomes for every patient.
