At Beaumont Veterinary Centre, you'll be joining a thriving and supportive team that truly makes this practice special. With a team of more than 35 colleagues, including 10 Veterinary Surgeons, 8 Registered Veterinary Nurses, Student RVNs and Patient Care Assistants, you'll be surrounded by experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while supporting each other's development.

This role offers flexibility, with a preference for 40 hours per week across 4 days plus 1 in 4 Saturdays, although we're happy to discuss alternative working patterns. You will work across our three well-established sites in Kidlington, Headington and Botley Road, giving you exposure to a varied caseload and a fantastic team environment.

We are exceptionally well equipped across all branches, with aseptic theatres, multiparameter monitoring, patient warming systems, digital radiography, ultrasound and dental facilities. Our Kidlington site also offers laparoscopic surgery and orthopaedic procedures. The team has a wealth of expertise, with interests ranging from exotic pets and reptiles to advanced medicine, cardiology and surgery, and we actively encourage and support further development.

As an RVN, you'll play a key role in running nurse clinics and consultations, supporting the veterinary team with patient examinations, anaesthesia and inpatient care, and helping to maintain the high clinical standards we're known for. You will be encouraged to utilise your nursing skills fully and contribute to a practice where nurses are highly valued members of the clinical team.

We're proud to be an ISFM-accredited practice and are working towards becoming a Dogs Trust-accredited practice, reflecting our commitment to delivering the highest standards of patient care and welfare.

About you 

We're looking for a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team. Whether you're newly qualified or bring years of experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, work with an interesting and varied caseload, and make a real difference every day. No two days are the same, and you'll be encouraged to utilise your nursing skills to their full potential while being supported every step of the way.

Ideally, you'll be a Clinical Coach, or be interested in becoming one, helping to support and develop the next generation of veterinary professionals. However, this isn't essential, and we welcome applications from newly qualified nurses who are eager to learn, grow, and build their career within a supportive environment.
