We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Twilight/OOH Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Newnham Court Veterinary Hospital in the OOH Team.
PETS Evening Supervisor role:
Week 1: 4pm-12am for 7 days
Week 2: 4pm-12am Wednesday and Thursday
Twilight shift cover starting at 4pm (helping the day team where needed, getting a handover from the NM team, discussing transfers of patients from subscribing practices, dealing with emergency consults/ emergency surgeries etc)
OOH experience preferred but not essential
Management/supervisor experience a bonus but again not essential
We are looking for a hard working team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure
Salary up to £41,800 based on a FTE 40 hour week and is paid pro rata
We are a Tier 3 accredited Hospital who provide only the highest standards of care to our patients. Our practice is fantastically well equipped with all the usual tech, tools and toys that we need to do high quality clinical work. We are looking for a hard working, self motivated nurse with a desire to continually improve clinical care within a busy hospital environment.
Our team is made up of 17 fantastic veterinary surgeons, all with varying interests and skills, meaning we see a large range of interesting cases. Our nursing team is 16 strong and is encouraged to pursue their own interests and professional development. We have a great support team and practice manager who work hard to ensure the practice runs smoothly. We are looking for a hardworking team player with excellent communication skills and high standards of clinical care. Experience of emergency and night work preferred but not essential.
