Life at Werrington Vets

We are looking for a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team and work 40 hours across 4 or 5 days with a share in the 1 in 4 Saturday rota.

Werrington is a busy, first opinion practice with a passionate team of vets, nurses, VCAs, and receptionists. Our facilities include digital x-ray, dental x-ray, a separate dental suite, lap spay equipment, and ultrasound, along with dedicated Veterinary Surgeons who visit the practice for orthopaedic, cardiology, and sub-tissue procedures, giving you the tools you need to deliver outstanding care.

Located in a popular residential area, the practice benefits from a steady and varied caseload, giving RVNs the opportunity to utilise and develop their full range of clinical skills. No two days at Werrington Vets are ever the same, your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, running wards and monitoring recovery
  • Deliver nurse consults and clinics
  • Monitor anaesthetics during operations
  • Support student nurses in their clinical journey

We're looking for a dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our Peterborough team. You will:

  • Support the outcome of patients care in all aspects of clinical work as part of the team. 
  • Ensure Quality is maintained by keeping our practice in excellent condition- ensuring quality of care and the best possible outcomes for every patient
