Registered Veterinary Nurse at Harbour Veterinary Hospital, Portsmouth – Up to £30,000 FTE DOE

Harbour Veterinary Hospital is a busy practice located in the seaside town of Portsmouth. With an offer referral services in cardiology, keyhole surgery, orthopaedic surgery, soft tissue surgery and ophthalmology to our clients.

We are searching for a dedicated RVN to join our team! The role full time (up to 40 hours per week), with no OOH and weekends on rota. This role would be best suited for a newly qualified RVN. 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to experience a varied caseload and be an integral part of surgeries, ward shifts and Nurse led clinics.

The RVN role includes:

  • To work as an active member of the clinical support team.
  • To fully participate in the Nursing rota as directed by the Head Nurse.
  • To provide the highest standards of client service and patient care
  • To ensure the timely and effective communication with all colleagues working in the Practice.
  • To provide assistance and support for the Veterinary Surgeons within the Practice environment.
  • To comply with all professional regulations, legislations and standards associated with independent accreditation such as the RCVS practice standards scheme.
  • To comply with CVS's H&S policies and attending relevant training as required.
