At CVS, we put our colleagues first, giving you the support you need to provide the best possible care. From clinical to non-clinical challenges, you'll always have the resources and teams alongside you. We'll be your biggest supporter – it's in our nature.

With market-leading learning, on-the-job training, and collaboration with skilled colleagues, you'll have the tools to grow—whether you're building confidence early in your career or looking to deepen your expertise. From advancing in your current role to exploring new leadership or specialist pathways, we provide the support and opportunities to help you achieve your goals.

Life at Fromus, Eagle and Castle Veterinary Centres

This opportunity is perfect for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys variety, teamwork, and delivering excellent patient care. Working across our three Suffolk practices in Saxmundham, Framlingham, and Halesworth, you'll support our vets with a wide range of nursing duties, provide advice and guidance to clients, and play an important role in mentoring and supporting student nurses. No two days are the same, and you'll be part of a collaborative team that works together to provide outstanding care for patients and their owners.

You'll join a friendly and experienced team of 5 vets, 7 nurses, and 5-6 receptionists across our three-site group. Your week will be split between the practices, giving you exposure to a varied caseload while working alongside supportive colleagues who genuinely enjoy helping each other succeed. The role offers a 9-hour working day (with an unpaid 1-hour lunch break), a start time from 8am, and a 1 in 4 Saturday rota (8am-2pm), supporting a healthy work-life balance. On top of that, we don't do any out of hours as we utilise a nearby CVS night time service.

We're proud to be a close-knit, RCVS-accredited practice group with a fantastic team culture and strong focus on development and wellbeing. Our practices benefit from visiting specialist expertise, including a heart and orthopaedic specialist, along with a dental certificate holder on site and we strive to support our student nurses as they progress through their training. With a dedicated Wellbeing Champion, great team ethics, regular social events, and a shared love of good food, you'll find a welcoming environment where everyone works together and enjoys coming to work. Conveniently located within easy reach of Ipswich and Lowestoft, our sites offer the perfect balance of professional opportunity and Suffolk lifestyle.
