Life at Haygate Vets, Wellington
Due to progression, we are looking for someone to join our team on a 9-month FTC to work 40 hours across 4 or 5 days with a share in the 1 in 5 Saturday rota. We can be flexible with what days and can even consider a rota'd pattern of 4 days one week, 5 days the next. There is the potential to extend the contract to 12 months.
Haygate Vets, Wellington is a busy, well-established small animal practice with a passionate team of vets, nurses, VCAs, and receptionists proud of their strong community feel. Our facilities include a newly installed CT machine, lap kit, high-spec lab equipment, multiparameter, oscillometric BP machines, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, and ultrasound, along with separate nurse consult rooms, wards, and theatres, giving you the tools you need to deliver outstanding care. As a training practice, we provide ample opportunities for development through utilising our nurses to perform Schedule 3 procedures, support student nurses.
Based in the large market town of Wellington in mid-Shropshire, the practice benefits from excellent transport links, including close proximity to the M54, providing easy access to Telford, Shrewsbury, and beyond, while also being on the doorstep of stunning countryside and areas of outstanding natural beauty.
