Life at Melton Vets, Woodbridge

Melton Vets is a small animal practice with a passionate team of vets, nurses, PCAs and receptionists. We are about to move to a newly refurbished, modern building with enhanced imaging capabilities and we also have access to MiNightVet Ipswich, plus interest in CT and advanced diagnostics, giving you the tools you need to deliver outstanding care. We pride ourselves on our friendly and collaborative environment where everyone is supported in providing the best possible care to animals.

Located in the beautiful market town of Woodbridge, the practice benefits from a supportive local community, easy access to the Suffolk coast, and a relaxed lifestyle perfect for those who enjoy both countryside and vibrant town living.

This is a part-time role, working 35 hours per week across 8am-7pm shifts - we can be flexible on days and can also consider part-time / job share applications. There is a 1 in 4 Saturday rota working 8am-5pm.

The role involves occasional sole charge, running nurse clinics, triaging and supporting with emergency cases, performing schedule 3 procedures, and monitoring anaesthesia. We are extremely passionate about supporting our Nurses and can also consider consulting-only applications.
