What you'll do:

There is a small talent pool of Vets and Nurses, and we need to be exceptional in our ability to attract and secure talent, whilst providing a great candidate experience. With high competition in the sector, we need to proactively seek and engage candidates, rather than relying on reactive recruitment methods.

  • Lead end to end recruitment for vet and nurse roles across your area.
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines within the veterinary sector, through pro-active direct sourcing.
  • Partner closely with clinical leaders to understand their hiring needs.
  • Act as trusted advisor to hiring managers, influencing hiring decisions.
  • Contribute to innovative sourcing strategies and market insights.
  • Actively be involved in continuous improvement resourcing projects.

Skills and Experience you'll need:

  • Proven experience recruiting clinical roles within the veterinary industry (essential)
  • Extensive experience in proactive sourcing for hard to fill vacancies (essential)
  • Strong network across vets, nurses, or practice teams
  • A consultative, relationship‑led approach to recruitment
  • Confidence working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
  • Passion for improving candidate experience and hiring outcomes
  • Strong business acumen, pragmatism and commercial mind set.
  • Significant experience in a proactive recruitment position with excellence in influencing stakeholders and shaping strategies and approaches.
  • Metric and data driven with strong analytical and problems solving experience.
  • Resilient and self-driven in identifying challenges, finding solutions and implementing them.
