Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
B&W Equine Hospital are looking for a full-time RVN to work as part of their dynamic nursing team based in Gloucestershire. B&W Equine Hospital has state-of-the-art facilities and a team of specialist vets who see a wide and varied caseload.
This exciting opportunity will ensure that the RVN will be able to utilise the skills they have acquired to their fullest potential. Aspects of the job will include general nursing duties such as but not limited to theatre nursing, diagnostic imaging, laboratory work, intensive care, and neonate nursing. As well as assisting Veterinary Surgeons in carrying out a range of procedures such as complex dental cases, internal medicine cases & poor performance examinations.
The successful applicant must be proactive, hardworking, motivated with good horse handling skills and have experience within a veterinary setting. Small animal RVN applicants would be considered as in-house training in all aspects of the equine veterinary nursing will be provided. Work pattern consists of day, night, and weekend duties as part of a shared rota.
Salary is dependent on skills and experience. CVS provide a generous benefits package.
