We're Growing - Join Our Nursing Team As Emergency Critical Care and Acute Medicine Team Lead
This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced RVN looking to take the next step into leadership. In this pivotal role, you'll work closely with the Head Nurse to guide and support the nursing team, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and client service. You'll champion nursing protocols, uphold our behavioural framework, and contribute to our shared purpose and vision. You'll work alongside a highly skilled team of RVNs, Patient Care Assistants (PCAs), and a Specialist-led referral team, all committed to delivering exceptional care. Many of our nurses hold postgraduate qualifications, and we actively support further professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee ICU operations and intensive nursing care across the hospital
Mentor and support junior staff, fostering a collaborative and learning-focused environment
Deliver clinical training sessions and informal mentorship, including CPR training
Manage stock control, equipment maintenance, and controlled drug records within ICU
Line manage the ICU team and liaise with the Head Nurse as needed
Collaborate with ECC clinicians to ensure seamless team coordination and gold-standard care for critical patients
Support other hospital wards to maintain consistent care standards
Introduce and implement innovative ideas to enhance team performance and patient outcomes
