Are you passionate about making pets a priority? Here at CVS, so are we! We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring individual with a genuine passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist within our Beaumont Veterinary Group practices.
 
Practice Site: Beaumont (Kidlington, Headington and Botley)
Location: Working across our three Beaumont Veterinary Group sites: Kidlington, Headington and Botley Road.
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 8 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Saturdays only
Availability: Occasional weekday overtime may be available and flexibility to support this would be welcomed.

About the Role
Day‑to‑day duties will include:
  • Answering phones and booking appointments
  • Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
  • Registering new clients
  • Completing insurance forms
  • Dispensing medications
  • Taking payments
  • And most importantly, providing a warm, professional and welcoming experience to all clients visiting the practice

What We're Looking For in Our Veterinary Receptionist:
  • Previous receptionist experience is essential; veterinary experience is an advantage
  • Resilience and the ability to handle potentially emotional or distressing situations
  • Excellent communication skills and a high level of empathy
  • Outstanding customer service skills and confidence working with the public
  • A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database or operating systems
  • A driving licence is desirable; ability to travel locally between sites would be ideal
