We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team, supporting the Dereham and Swaffham branches alongside a dedicated Senior Vet and management. This role offers an excellent pathway for those seeking to advance into a leadership position within a dynamic practice.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced, proactive, supportive, and forward-thinking nurse who understands the importance of delivering high-quality care to both patients and clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing a team of eight nurses across two branches
- Collaborating closely with Fakenham Hospital
- Staff support, development, and mentorship
- Ensuring health and safety standards, including equipment servicing
- Upholding clinical governance through audits, SOPs, and participation in quarterly meetings
- Performing clinical nursing duties
- Driving practice growth and continuous improvement
The position is based on a 38-hour week over four days (hours are negotiable for the right candidate). No OOH, however, option to assist at the main hospital in Fakenham is a possibility if wanting to maintain emergency nursing skills.
