At CVS, we put our colleagues first, giving you the support you need to provide the best possible care. From clinical to non-clinical challenges, you'll always have the resources and teams alongside you. We'll be your biggest supporter – it's in our nature.

With market-leading learning, on-the-job training, and collaboration with skilled colleagues, you'll have the tools to grow—whether you're building confidence early in your career or looking to deepen your expertise. From advancing in your current role to exploring new leadership or specialist pathways, we provide the support and opportunities to help you achieve your goals

Life at Endell Vets

Endell's is a Small Animal practice with a passionate team of vets, nurses, PCAs and receptionists. We pride ourselves on our friendly and collaborative environment where everyone is supported in providing the best possible care to animals.

We are lucky to have positive relationships with our onsite out of hours' team provided by VetsNow and within the CVS group more widely which allows team members to access support, learning opportunities and experience in a wide range of areas.

We're seeking a confident Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly, well-established practice in the heart of Salisbury. This position would suit someone with solid clinical experience who enjoys supporting and mentoring junior colleagues. Whether you're already taking on leadership responsibilities or looking to develop your line management skills and progress into the next stage of your career, we can provide the support, guidance, and opportunities to help you grow.

The Role

  • 20–30 hours per week
  • Typically 2 x 10-hour shifts per week
  • 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (8:00am–12:00pm consultations only)
  • Some sole charge responsibilities
  • No out of hours work
  • Flexible working patterns to support family life and achieve a healthy work/life balance

You'll be joining a stable and experienced nursing team who play a key role in supporting the clinical team. Our nurses are highly knowledgeable, collaborative, and committed to delivering excellent patient care, providing valuable support and guidance as part of your day to day work.

We are passionate about helping our people reach their potential. This role offers the opportunity to:

  • Mentor and support less experienced veterinary colleagues
  • Develop leadership and line management skills
  • Take the next step in your veterinary career
  • Shape and influence the future growth of the practice

We're proud to be a genuinely community driven practice with strong local engagement. From hosting family friendly puppy parties and attending local dog shows, to delivering first aid training and supporting local initiatives, we're actively involved in the community we serve. Most recently, our team was invited to judge local business projects at Salisbury Grammar School, reflecting our commitment to supporting the next generation and strengthening local connections.

Located in the centre of Salisbury, our practice offers the best of both worlds – a vibrant city-centre location with the convenience of on-site parking. Salisbury provides a fantastic blend of historic charm, excellent amenities, green spaces, and easy transport links.

If you're looking for a supportive practice where you can develop your career, contribute to a fantastic team culture, and become part of a thriving local community, we'd love to hear from you!
