An exciting opportunity has been created at Dovecote Veterinary Referrals for a Senior Soft Tissue Surgeon.
Dovecote is a busy, progressive, growing, multi‐disciplinary, referral‐hospital in the Midlands. Besides neurology, our hospital specialities include Orthopaedics, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Dermatology and Ophthalmology. The hospital is located in Castle Donington – a picturesque market town in the heart of the Midlands, 10 minutes from East Midlands international airport, 30 minutes from the Peak District and 20 minutes from both Nottingham and Derby. We are also a clinical associate practice for University of Nottingham Veterinary School.
We have a strong surgical caseload and alongside it, clinical research is also encouraged. Dovecote Veterinary Hospital is an important hub of neurological clinical research, arising from within the private referral sector in the UK.
Dovecote Veterinary Referrals is part of the CVS Referrals network, so you will be joining a large network of multiple specialists across our seven UK referral locations.
The successful candidate should preferably have completed the Diploma examination for admission to the European College of Veterinary Surgeons or, or have completed an ECVS residency.
Excellent team spirit, communication skills and a good sense of humor are essential in our progressive team.
