We are excited to invite applications for a Specialist in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia (DipECVAA or DACVAA) to join our supportive and collaborative team. We will also consider applications from post-residency candidates. Part-time options are available.
As an ECVAA Residency Training Centre within a large, multidisciplinary hospital, we manage a varied and challenging caseload, including emergencies. The role therefore includes participation in the on-call rota.
You will be joining a fantastic anaesthesia team of five ECVAA Diplomates, three ECVAA Residents, and a group of exceptional Registered Veterinary Nurses and Patient Care Assistants. Location
Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists is based just outside the market town of Alton, on the edge of the South Downs National Park. We are surrounded by beautiful Hampshire countryside, within easy reach of the South Coast, and close to the historic towns and cities of Winchester and Guildford.
The hospital has excellent transport links, just 50 minutes by train to London, and convenient access to major airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, Southampton), the port of Southampton, and motorway networks.
