Are you passionate about animal care and looking to build a rewarding career? Manchester Veterinary Specialists are seeking an enthusiastic Surgical Technician to join our friendly and Specialist-led team. Whether you're experienced or just starting out, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic referral hospital where your development is truly valued.
You'll work alongside our nursing team in both theatre and wards, supporting a wide range of surgical procedures and patient care. Your role will include animal handling, preparing patients for theatre, processing surgical instruments, and providing post-operative care.
This role would suit someone with experience working with animals or in a human operating theatre or hospital sterilisation unit. However, no prior experience is required — we'll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.
Career Progression: We're committed to helping our team grow. Suitable candidates may have the opportunity to progress into veterinary nurse training positions, subject to performance and team needs.
