Life at Severn Edge Cleobury

Severn Edge Vets is a well-established small animal network across Shropshire, and our Cleobury branch is part of a thriving group of nine sites, offering the best of both worlds: a supportive local team with the structure and opportunities of a much wider network.

Our facilities include access to a CT scanner, endoscopy & advanced imaging, in-house laboratory, ultrasound, and digital X-ray, giving you everything you need to deliver outstanding clinical care.

Set in the beautiful Shropshire countryside, Cleobury offers a peaceful rural lifestyle without sacrificing community, connection, or career development.

We are a friendly, collaborative, and supportive team, passionate about developing our people and celebrating progression at every stage of your journey.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced RVN ready to step into a Team Lead role, combining clinical nursing with leadership responsibilities. The role is 38.8 hours a week across 4 days, with no out of hours requirements.

No two days will be the same. In this role, you will:

  • Deliver exceptional care to patients and their owners.
  • Provide inpatient care, support vets, monitor anaesthetics, administer medications, and run client consultations.
  • Lead and support the nursing team on both clinical and non-clinical matters.
  • Manage rotas, administrative tasks, 1–2–1s, and regular check-ins.
  • Drive team initiatives and lead branch meetings.
  • Maintain our practice to a high standard, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Grow your leadership skills with the full support of CVS's development programmes.

Free on-site parking is available.
