Vet Direct is a multi-functional shop for progressive veterinary practices; fulfilling consumable, uniform, instrument and equipment needs. Vet Direct are an important part of the CVS. Vet Direct are excited to be recruiting for a Technical Support Assistant across a 40 hour week Monday – Friday. The successful candidate will provide administrative support and team cover to the Technical Support Team.

 

Further responsibilities include:

  • Processing orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers by telephone and email.
  • Maintaining excellent standards of record keeping and administration, complying to GDPR.
  • Providing outstanding customer service.
  • Providing cover for the Repairs Co-ordinator during annual leave/absence.
  • Packing repaired equipment.
  • Unpacking and book in equipment for inspection.
  • Upholding all customer service aspirations of Vet Direct and CVS group.

 

Key Skills Required:

  • Excellent keyboard and computer skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication with positive interpersonal skills.
  • Organised, able to use your time and resources both efficiently and effectively.
  • Ability to work alone and as a team player with a high level of dedication and positive work ethos in a fast changing and competitive environment.
  • Enthusiasm and ability to learn about veterinary products/services and describe/explain them to customers.
  • Empathetic approach to customers and colleagues.

 

In addition to an hourly rate of £12.21, we offer a range of company benefits including:
