Position: Trainee Service and Support Technician

Salary: £25,396.80 with additional probationary & incremental training increases

Hours: 8:30-17:00 office hours and varied hours for field based work

Location: Harleston, Norfolk

At MiLab we supply and maintain in-house diagnostic analysers for veterinary practices across the UK and Ireland.

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a trainee service and support technician at our site in Harleston.

The role is a mixture of field and office based, the main responsibilities of the role include traveling to service our analysers within veterinary practices, servicing and testing analysers in our offices at Harleston and providing telephone technical support to customers.

No experience necessary, all training will be provided.

 

Person specification: We are looking for a positive, pro-active person who enjoys working independently and as part of a small team, who thrives on a challenge with a fast changing role and has excellent customer service skills.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Confident driving long distances – A pool car will be provided
  • Flexibility to be able to travel working away from home at short notice
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Conscientious approach to work with an excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt and learn new skills

Please note: Travelling to veterinary practices in the UK is required for this role; therefore a full clean driving licence is essential.
