We have a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Ambulance Driver to join our team here at YourVets – Solihull.

 

Location: To be based from our Solihull site

Contract: Permanent

Hours:  12.5 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Working 2.5 hours each shift, 16.00 – 18.30, Monday - Friday

This position will include:

  • Animal handling and transportation (in particular dealing with animals with difficult demeanours) – experience with handling large dogs required
  • Animal husbandry and exercising
  • Infection control
  • Basic administration tasks with animal records
  • General housekeeping
  • This is a sensitive role with full confidentiality expected

 

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A full and clean driving licence
  • Experience handling animals, including the transporting of animals in and out of vehicles
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to record and document clear, accurate information
