We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and organised Hospital Administrator to join the team at ChesterGates Veterinary Specialists.

 

This is a part time position, working Thursday & Friday's, 7:30am – 4pm.  

 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Maintenance of practice premises and non-clinical equipment through co-ordination of contractors or property team.
  • HR administration including rotas, records maintenance, new colleague induction preparation and visitor management.
  • Inductions for all new starters and visitors.
  • Arranging all visitors and following induction process'.
  • Ensuring H&S compliance including some risk assessment reviews.
  • General administration.
  • Assisting the management team with delegated jobs.
  • Assisting the reception team in the delivery of a high standard of client and customer care by communicating accurately and promptly with clients when necessary. 
  • Assisting accounts and insurance.
  • Completing sickness and return to work forms.
  • Practice management system projects
  • Updating the website with webteam.
  • Creating weekly schedules for all staff.
  • Collating information for monthly newsletter and liaising with marketing.
  • Ordering of stationary, general appliances, uniforms and AOB
  • Any other delegated jobs management and the leadership team require.

 

To be considered, you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritising skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks, work to tight deadlines and stay focused under pressure.
  • Outstanding telephone manner with the ability to establish good rapport with clients
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Proven IT skills/ confidence in Microsoft Office and Excel
