Life at Severn Edge Vets, Ludlow

We are looking for a passionate Team Lead Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. The role is currently available for 28.5 hours a week with a 1 in 4 Saturday morning shift, but we can also potentially consider flexible/full-time applications for the right candidate.

Severn Edge Vets Ludlow is a first opinion practice with a passionate team of vets, nurses, VCAs, and receptionists. Our facilities include in-house blood machines, ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, and multiparameters giving you the tools you need to deliver outstanding care. The wider team across Severn Edge also has vets with certificates in medicine, feline medicine, imaging, dentistry, cardiology, internal medicine.

The team culture is supportive and collaborative, creating an environment where nurses at all stages of their career can learn, grow, and feel valued. We genuinely encourage and promote development and are happy to support CPD and certificate interests.

Some of your responsibilities would include:

  • Conducting regular check-ins and 1-2-1s with the nursing support team
  • Delivering training and mentorship for new and junior team members
  • Completing clinical audit checks
  • Running nursing clinics and providing inpatient care
