Riverside Veterinary Practice is currently recruiting a university qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist.
The successful applicant will provide veterinary physiotherapy services within the Armadale Practice (1-3 East Main Street, Armadale, EH48 2NT).
Role Details:
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday (days negotiable for the right candidate)
The main function of this post is the provision of veterinary physiotherapy for both internal and externally referred cases to the busy physiotherapy service. The post holder will also be involved in the clinical teaching of our own veterinary staff. Support will be given to develop clinical interests and skills through development opportunities and mentoring. About Us
The physiotherapy service at Riverside Vets has been established for over 6 years. There is a large designated clinic room which the physiotherapist will have sole access to. There is a wide range of equipment already in place including a class 4 Companion LASER machine, Pulsed Magnetic Field Therapy machine, Therapeutic Ultrasound, NMES & TENS machines, a stance analyser and electric goniometer device, as well as exercise therapy equipment.
There is access to an in-house Acupuncturist, weight management team and a Clinical Behaviourist within the team as well as experienced and engaged Vets and a visiting specialist surgeon. Species treated will be primarily dog and cat.
