Veterinary Surgeon, Forrest House, Bedale North Yorkshire. Fixed term contract.

We have an opportunity for a Small Animal Vet to join us at Forrest House Vets on a fixed term contract.

You will work within a busy main branch with interesting caseload in Bedale. We are a modern, forward thinking and progressive practice and team. We are looking for a Vet with motivation to continue to improve clinical standards and standard of care.

We pride ourselves on a great relationship with our clients. You will be working with our excellent team of 4 Vets (all working towards certificates, surgery and diagnostic imaging), 6 RVNs (with varied areas of expertise/interests in nutrition, behaviour, exotics, ecc, schedule 3 nursing, nurse clinics, anaesthesia) and support staff who will help you in your role. We are well equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound and in-house laboratory helping us to give the best care to our patients from diagnosis to treatment.

About you

We are seeking a GP Veterinary Surgeon to join our fun, friendly and supportive teams. You will be:

• Driven by shared passion to provide the best possible care to animals, you're committed to delivering outstanding care to support our patients and their owners.
• Confident in your clinical skills, you'll be able to take on surgical and medical cases and carry out diagnostic investigations with precision.
• Keen to develop, you're committed to gaining further confidence in clinical skills so that you can manage or lead on different case types
• A natural mentor and team player, you'll enjoy supporting and inspiring all colleagues to help them thrive. Providing ongoing support to team members with opportunities for progression.
• Client care comes naturally to you, you know how to create a positive, reassuring experience that builds trust and long-lasting relationships.
• As an experienced vet you'll be comfortable handling a varied caseload, offering guidance to the wider team and contributing to shaping clinical standards.

Rota: 25 hours a week. 2.5 days a week. Fixed term contract.
