Robert Jones Vets are on the lookout for a compassionate and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to become part of our friendly, professional, and supportive team based in Blackpool, Lancashire. 

Rota: 40 hours a week. 4 days a week. We can be flexible so please get in touch to let us know what works for you.

Robert Jones Vets, established in 1970, is located just minutes from the beach in Blackpool, with excellent transport links across the wider North West. You'll be joining a highly experienced, friendly and approachable team that is passionate about delivering exceptional patient and client care, from routine health checks to more advanced surgical procedures.

Our brand-new, purpose-built practice has been thoughtfully designed to support high standards of clinical care and provide a comfortable environment for both patients and staff. We are well-equipped with modern facilities, including digital X-ray and dental X-ray, enabling efficient diagnostics and high-quality treatment. To further enhance patient wellbeing, we also offer separate cat and dog wards, ensuring a calm and stress reduced experience for all.

About you

We are seeking a GP Veterinary Surgeon to join our fun, friendly and supportive teams. You will be:

  • Driven by shared passion to provide the best possible care to animals, you're committed to delivering outstanding care to support our patients and their owners.
  • Confident in your clinical skills, you'll be able to take on surgical and medical cases and carry out diagnostic investigations with precision.
  • Keen to develop, you're committed to gaining further confidence in clinical skills so that you can manage or lead on different case types
  • A natural mentor and team player, you'll enjoy supporting and inspiring all colleagues to help them thrive. Providing ongoing support to team members with opportunities for progression.
  • Client care comes naturally to you, you know how to create a positive, reassuring experience that builds trust and long-lasting relationships.
  • As a vet you'll be comfortable handling a varied caseload, offering guidance to the wider team and contributing to shaping clinical standards.
