We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our happy, enthusiastic, and friendly small animal team at Lamorna House Veterinary Centre, Camborne, Cornwall!

Lamorna is a well-established small animal practice. We pride ourselves on the level of care we provide to both our clients and their pets.

We are a purpose-built practice with a brand-new dental suite and x-ray, ultrasound, digital x-ray and multiparameter machine. We are a cat friendly clinic with separate cat and dog wards. We are also proud to work with the Retired Greyhound Trust.

We have an Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Medicine and a certificate holder in Cardiology. We actively encourage and support career progression. Our team comprises of four vets, six nurses plus our support team who all provide the best clinical care and have a proactive approach to quality improvement.

Winners of two national CVS awards, we also hold:

  • RCVS General Practice Accreditation
  • RCVS awards in Client Service & Team, Professional Responsibility, Environmental Sustainability & Patient Consultation Services
  • ISFM Silver Cat friendly status
  • Dog Friendly status

The role will suit a GP Veterinary Surgeon who can adapt to varying client needs and manage expectations with an empathetic approach. We will gladly support those wanting to pursue a certificate.

The position is part time 30 hours per week, however we would consider a full time rota if preferred. No OOH.

Lamorna House are in Camborne, commutable from Redruth, Falmouth, St Ives, Penzance, Helston, Hayle, Truro, Perranporth, Goonhavern, Newquay, Bodmin other locations in Cornwall.
