Competitive Salary | up to £60,000 (DOE) (FTE)

Our full time vets work 4 days a week, to but several of the team already enjoy a 3 day week, plus equally shared weekends and oncall. Part time we can consider 1 or 2 days a week, or mornings only, with a share of saturdays and backup oncall. We would also consider saturday only rotas.

Life at Stow Veterinary Surgeons (Stow-on-the-Wold)

Stow Veterinary Surgeons (Stow-on-the-Wold) is a small animal practice with a passionate team of vets, nurses, PCAs and receptionists. We are a modern practice with a wide range of facilities including dental suite with digital dental x-ray, endoscopy, two theatres, imaging suite with DR X-ray, ultrasound with cardiology capabilities, tonometer and laproscopic eqipment to name a few. We also benefit from having visiting cardiologists and AP surgeons as well as access to the Vetoracle telemedicine and imaging services.

We pride ourselves on our friendly and collaborative environment where everyone is supported and included. We hold monthly team meetings, What Mattters to You meetings and you will have a monthly check-in with your line manager.

Accomodation options are available at the practice including a one- or two-bedroom flat. Affordable accommodation can also be found in nearby towns of Carterton, Witney and the surrounding villages.

Stow veterinary centre has been serving the surrounding area for over 200 years. Our purpose-built premises in Stow-on-the-Wold was opened in 2001. We also have 4 branches which are in lovely nearby towns of Burford, Northleach, Milton under Wychwood and Moreton in the Marsh.

We have a full team of RVNs who support our OOH alongside a PCA. We value work life balance and can accommodate various work patterns. We do our own out of hours on a 1:6 rota (from home or staying on site) and Saturdays 1:6. We would also consider Saturday only working.

About you:
 
This position would suit an experienced small animal vet, preferably with a minimum of 3+ years' experience and we would support people looking to explore doing a certificate. The role involves primary care, inpatient care, medical work ups and surgery.
