We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at Ruddington Vets in Nottingham.
Our recently purpose-built practice is made up of 4 consultation rooms, 2 theatres (including laparoscopic equipment), a dental room, imaging and isolation rooms, plus separate dog and cat wards and waiting areas.
Salary for this opportunity is up to £60k DOE plus benefits.

Ruddington Vets in Nottingham is a friendly, experienced team with a loyal customer base. Our team of 3 Vets, 5 Nurses, a Student Nurse and Receptionist team are caring and supportive of each other. Clinical interests within the team are internal medicine and surgery. We have ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, laparoscopic equipment, 2 theatres, 4 consulting rooms and separate cat and dog wards and waiting areas. We are ISFM Silver cat friendly accredited.

The role
Must be a qualified, experienced Veterinary Surgeon with ideally a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a veterinary setting
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to animal care
Proactive, enthusiastic, and willing to contribute to a team-oriented culture
Conduct consultations, diagnose, and treat a range of medical conditions
Collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients
Provide high-quality veterinary care and surgical services to a variety of companion animals
Help develop and implement new services that enhance the practice's offerings
This is predominantly a full-time role, but we are happy to discuss part-time options - let us know what works for you!
