Life at Market Cross Veterinary Clinic  

 

This role is full-time, 40 hours a week across 4 or 5 days with a share in the 1:3 Saturday morning rota. We can also potentially consider part-time applications, just let us know what works for you!
 
We're proud to have a highly experienced clinical team, including four vets, two registered veterinary nurses (RVNs), a student veterinary nurse (SVN), a patient care assistant (PCA), and a dedicated receptionist team. Our practice is well equipped with digital X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy and an in-house laboratory, as well as separate dog and cat wards and waiting areas helping us provide exceptional care from diagnosis through to treatment.

The team work hard to prioritise continuity of care, supporting patients and owners by seeing cases through from start to finish. We have a strong focus on evidence-based medicine and responsible antimicrobial stewardship. The team are very committed to fear free practice and work hard with owners to build patients trust and confidence. We have a team member who runs very successful desensitisation appointments.

We are located on Edinburgh Road in Dalkeith, just a short drive from Edinburgh city centre and well positioned for commuters via the A7 and Edinburgh City Bypass (A270), with easy access to surrounding areas including Musselburgh, Bonnyrigg, Penicuik, and the wider Midlothian region.

 
About you:
