St Davids Veterinary Hospital are seeking a new Veterinary Surgeon to join our fun and friendly team in Exeter, Devon!

Are you a passionate and dedicated small animal vet seeking a rewarding opportunity? Look no further! We are a thriving veterinary practice based in the heart of Exeter, and we are currently searching for a talented individual to join our close-knit team.

Established in 1941, we are a fully equipped small animal hospital in Exeter. Our friendly and experienced veterinary team provide the highest quality of veterinary care, surgery and treatment – along with regular check-ups and routine procedures. 

We have been providing an efficient, approachable and reasonably priced orthopaedic referral service, including surgery for cruciate ligament rupture and total hip replacements for over 25 years. We also take referrals in laparoscopic procedures and other soft tissue procedures to our clients and other practices.

We have a highly skilled and supportive team of vets and nurses, with certificate holders in medicine, feline medicine and emergency and critical care, complemented by a strong and experienced reception and administrative team. We are passionate about supporting career progression and are proud to have helped several members of our current team develop their skills, achieve certificates and progress in their chosen areas of interest.

This position involves working 40 hours per week across 4 days. 1:3 Saturdays (8:30am-6:30pm) will be required. Our in-house CVS Vets 24/7 (EVES) covers nights and Sundays. You will be based at the hospital in Exeter, however some branch cover may be required in Exminster.
