We have an exciting opportunity for a Small Animal Vet to join our friendly and supportive team at Albavet, available on either a permanent or fixed-term contract. This role offers flexibility and the chance to work within a well-equipped, multi-site practice where high quality patient care and team collaboration are at the heart of what we do.
Rota: part time 25 hours a week across 2.5 days or full time 40 hours a week across 4 days. No OOH's or on call. If you are seeking a different pattern please get in touch to discuss options.

Life at Alba
Albavet is made up of our main site in Dunfermline and Kirkcaldy, along with our other sites in Burntisland, and Dalgety Bay, supported by a friendly and experienced team of 12 vets. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest standard of veterinary care, surgery, and treatment, creating a supportive and collaborative environment for both our team and patients.
We are well-equipped with a wide range of modern facilities, including laparoscopic equipment, endoscopy, ultrasound, digital x-ray, and dental x-ray, allowing us to provide high quality diagnostics and treatment across a broad range of cases.
Our clinical team includes certificate holders in Surgery and ECC, ensuring a strong level of in-house expertise. We also benefit from regular visits from specialist surgeons to support more complex cases, alongside easy access to the Vet Oracle support platform for additional guidance in areas such as medicine, cardiology, dentistry, dermatology, and more.
We provide overnight care for stable inpatients within our main practices, supported by a dedicated team of night nurses. This enables excellent continuity of care for both patients and clinicians.
