We don't want you to be able to do everything at once. We give you the time, the tools and the supporting cast to let you spend quality time with your cases, your life commitments and own interests.

Why should you want to join Ark?

You'll join a welcoming team of five vets, supported by a loyal nursing and client care team. Most days you'll work alongside one to two other vets on site, creating the perfect balance of independence and support.

We use an AI-powered scribe tool to support clinical record keeping and client communications. This helps reduce administrative burden while allowing us to offer 30-minute consultations as standard, giving you the time to perform thorough examinations, investigations and client discussions without feeling rushed.

We place a strong emphasis on clinical standards and client communication. Our diary structure is designed to give you the time you need to do your best work, with dedicated consulting blocks, protected breaks, and surgical procedures typically scheduled in the mornings. There is also time built into the day for case notes, follow-up calls and thorough patient workups.

Our clients are highly engaged and are generally keen to pursue diagnostics and investigations when clinically appropriate, allowing vets to practise high-quality medicine rather than simply treating symptoms.

Louise holds a certificate in Medicine, Fay is currently pursuing a behavioural certificate. You can learn from them, and if interested, purse your own interests and an advanced practitioner yourself we will give you the support you in your career. That is in addition to our 1,000 hours of CPD content you can access or free, and the support of our VetOracle service that gives you access to Specialists on demand.

Working pattern

• Full-time, 40 hours per week (no OOH)
• Four-day week
• 1 in 3 Saturday mornings
• Saturday rota alternates between:
• 8:30am - 11
• 8:30am - 1:00pm
