Life at West Mount.
West Mount Vets is a well-established first opinion practice with a loyal and long-standing client base, supported by a friendly, experienced, and collaborative team that is committed to delivering high-quality patient care. Operating from a purpose-built facility, the practice is equipped with three dedicated consulting rooms and a fully equipped operating theatre, providing an excellent environment for both routine and more complex clinical work.
This role offers an exciting and varied medical and surgical caseload, giving you the opportunity to develop and utilise your skills across a broad range of cases. You will benefit from the support and guidance of experienced colleagues while enjoying the clinical freedom to make decisions that are in the best interests of your patients. The practice works closely with our Halifax hospital, which provides its own out-of-hours service, ensuring that this position remains focused on first opinion veterinary care with no routine out-of-hours commitment. This allows for an excellent balance between delivering exceptional clinical care and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
