Active Vetcare, Summerleaze Veterinary Hospital, Berkshire, Maidenhead.

Are you a forward thinking and collaborative team player? Are you keen to provide best practice and continue to learn?

We have a new opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team at our RCVS accredited 24 hour hospital in Maidenhead, Berkshire. We are flexible in our approach to part time work and our current team of 13 vets enjoy a mixture of full time, part time, day, twilight, night and weekend roles.

Our clinical team offers a comprehensive range of veterinary services with a fully dedicated OOH team. This large clinical team values clinical development, several of which have either gained or are working towards advanced certificates (medicine, surgery, cardiology, ophthalmology).

Our ethos is not only about providing great patient and client care, but also providing staff with an environment in which they can develop and progress in their chosen area of interest. Several of our vets have gained advanced certificates (ophthalmology, medicine) and we have others working towards advanced certificates in surgery, imaging, medicine and ECC. Being part of a team, sharing knowledge and experience is as important to us as having great clinical skill. We pride ourselves on our practice culture, enabling and providing a safe environment, and the capacity, time and skills for people to learn.

The role is based in Maidenhead but is commutable from Marlow, Beaconsfield, High Wycombe, Slough, Windsor, Henley-on-Thames, Reading, Bracknell, Ascot and other surrounding locations within Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.
