This is a Maternity Cover position, and the salary is dependent on experience, plus benefits.

We are recruiting for a full-time experienced Veterinary Surgeon for our busy, progressive first opinion practice in the lovely market town of Morpeth.

Our own dedicated out of hours night team means no night work. We have a shared rota of weekend days and Saturday mornings. This allows plenty of time to enjoy the nearby coasts and hills that Northumberland has to offer. What are we looking for?
A Veterinary Surgeon with at least 2 years of experience
Strong communication and time management skills in emergencies
Confident in consults and surgery, with a solid caseload and the ability to perform all routine GP operations
Proactive and a team player
Customer-focused approach is essential

We offer a competitive salary, based on experience.
Shift pattern: This is a 4-day-a-week full-time role covering 40 hours or we would consider these hours over 5 days. You'll also need to be able to work across several sites in Alnorthumbria if necessary.
