The Dam Veterinary Centre are looking for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join their small animal practice in Selby, North Yorkshire, on a 12-month Maternity Cover, starting in December.
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, over 4 days, including a 1 in 3 weekend rota working a Saturday morning between 8.30am - 12:30pm, with an early finish the following week to compensate. This role requires no out-of-hours.
Salary is up to £74,100, dependent on experience, plus benefits.

About us…
We are a small animal practice in Selby. Our practice is easily accessible, and we offer disabled access and on-site parking.
Our friendly and experienced veterinary team provide the highest quality of veterinary care, surgery and treatment – along with regular check-ups and routine procedures.
We can offer grooming services in our on-site dog-grooming parlour, and we also accept referrals for Ophthalmology.
We currently have 3 Vets undertaking post-graduate certificates and have access to a range of modern equipment, including a brand new Mindray Vetus 50 ultrasound machine, dental x-ray, electrocautery and tonometr.
We are in Selby, North Yorkshire, and have excellent transport links to several larger cities in the region – such as York, Wakefield and Leeds.
The role
This Veterinary Surgeon opportunity is a full-time, maternity cover position.
The successful Veterinary Surgeon will have access to support from our internal referral programme with support in soft tissue, orthopaedic, ophthalmology, cardiology, diagnostic imaging and medicine.
