Bridge Veterinary Group have a new opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their highly skilled hospital and practice teams! You will primarily be based at the Middlesborough hospital, also supporting the Hartlepool practice.

Why us?

You'll be joining our friendly team of 8 veterinary surgeons, 10 registered veterinary nurses, 2 student nurses, 6 receptionists and 5 PCA support staff; all contributing to provide the best clinical care to our patients and clients over our sites. We can be flexible and offer shifts at either Middlesbrough or Hartlepool. There is no OOH's and with a dedicated night team based at the Middlesbrough hospital, excellent continuity of care is provided. We offer a busy practice setting with opportunity to develop own interests and advance clinical skills. Digital xray, Dental radiography, Doppler Ultrasound, In house laboratory, multiparameter monitor and much more!

As a veterinary hospital we see a varied caried caseload with advanced emergency cases to routine work. We strive to work to high clinical standards and prioritise great patient and client care. Our team pride themselves on great team moral and genuinely support each other in and out of work. The role will be varied across consults, surgeries and hospitalised patients, but offer opportunity to develop in any one of these areas.

About you

We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our fun, friendly and supportive teams in a hospital and practice environments. You will be:

  • Driven by shared passion to provide the best possible care to animals, you're committed to delivering outstanding care to support our patients and their owners.
  • Confident in your clinical skills, you'll be able to take on surgical and medical cases and carry out diagnostic investigations with precision.
  • Keen to develop, you're committed to gaining further confidence in clinical skills so that you can manage or lead on different case types
  • A natural mentor and team player, you'll enjoy supporting and inspiring all colleagues to help them thrive. Providing ongoing support to team members with opportunities for progression.
  • Client care comes naturally to you, you know how to create a positive, reassuring experience that builds trust and long-lasting relationships.
  • You'll be comfortable handling a varied caseload, offering guidance to the wider team and contributing to shaping clinical standards.

 

Rota: 40 hours a week across 4 days. No OOH's. Part time rotas can be discussed!

We are based in Middlesborough and Hartlepool which are commutable from Stockton-on-Tees, Redcar, Yarm, Darlington, Guisborough, Staithes, Stokesley, Great Ayton, Newton Aycliffe, Bishop Auckland, Shildon, West Auckland, Horden, Wingate, Sedgefield, Ferryhill, Spennymoor, Coxhoe, Bowburn, Durham, Shotton Colliery, Murton, Easington Colliery, Seaham, Sunderland, Northallerton, Hutton Rudby, Seaton Carew and other locations in the North Yorkshire and County Durham areas.
