Willow Vets, Norwich - 30 Hours a Week with No OOH - Salary up to £66,000 FTE Depending on Experience
At Willow Vets, we pride ourselves on being more than just a practice – we're a collaborative, forward-thinking team that champions quality improvement and continuous development. Every voice matters here, and we actively encourage ideas that enhance patient care and make our working environment even better.
We are looking for an experienced Vet to join our team, working 30 hours week across both sites (Hellesdon & Thorpe Road). The rota comprises of 3 x 10 hour shifts and a share in the 1 in 4 weekend rota. There are no OOH requirements for this role. Whatever your circumstances and requirements please get in touch, we're keen to work with anyone with caring or family responsibilities, voluntary or sports commitments or who's just looking for more “life” in their work/life balance.
We believe in creating a supportive space where vets can thrive, share knowledge, and feel part of something meaningful. If you're passionate about teamwork, innovation, and delivering exceptional care, you'll fit right in. We would love to support your development both clinically and personally so we'd be thrilled to help you work towards a certificate but we also appreciate the value and immense skill of a true all-round general practitioner so there's no pressure to narrow your field if you don't want to. Our own Clinical Director progressed from a Small Animal Vet, to a Senior Vet, to her current role as CD. You would have access to our visiting cardiology and surgery certificate holders who take internal referrals and are happy for you to shadow them to develop your own clinical skills - You can see here what life at Willow Vets looks like: https://vimeo.com/874010436?share=copy
When we asked the team, what did they enjoy about working at Willow how would they describe the culture at Willow, we hear the following:
“It brings me a lot of happiness at work both knowing and feeling that I am a respected and valued member of the team at Willow Vets.”
“The team always strives to improve and support each other on a daily basis which isn't something I can truly say I've felt working at other practices. I also really enjoy knowing that at the end of the working day, there is no OOH and I can go home and relax with a glass of wine! I've been a vet for 10 years and joined Willows 2 years ago and haven't looked back, I would urge you to come and spend a day with us and experience it for yourself. “
“Friendly clients, supportive team, lovely surroundings for walking, bird watching…”
“Caring for the patients and for the clients, making easy for the new ones to introduce and feel like at home. It's like Family, we all support each other during good and bad times”.
