We are looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join Priory Vets, Nottingham, on a full-time basis. The salary for this role is up to £65k DOE, FTE.

We are seeking a vet who is not only skilled and knowledgeable, but also compassionate and empathetic towards both animals and their owners. You should have excellent communication skills, as building strong relationships with our clients is a key aspect of our practice.

We are a small animal practice located in Beeston, Nottingham. Our practice is easily accessible, and we offer disabled access and on-site parking.

You will be joining a well-equipped practice with access to a diverse and interesting caseload, as well as a range of modern equipment. We are a progressive, friendly, and supportive team of Vet Surgeons, qualified Nurses, Senior Nurses, and Receptionists, and you will be fully supported by our experienced Clinical Director.

Our friendly and experienced veterinary team provide the highest quality of veterinary care, surgery and treatment – along with regular check-ups and routine procedures.

We are a MiNightVet, which means we have an on-site dedicated emergency service with full-time night staff. The qualified vets and nurses have a special interest, experience and training in all aspects of urgent critical care and provide an emergency consultation at the Out of Hours clinic.

 

What We're Looking For:

Our ideal candidate will be a confident all all-round GP vet who can perform routine surgeries and offer support to the rest of the team. Continuous professional development is highly encouraged, and we provide opportunities for further training and certificate study. We also value teamwork and client care.

 

Salary and rota:  

The successful Veterinary Surgeon will receive an attractive pro rata salary up to £65k, depending on experience.

This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week. There will be no OOH required in this role.
