Are you an experienced Vet with an interest in developing in OOH and ECC?
Newnham Court Veterinary Hospital are looking for an experienced vet to join their existing highly experienced ECC team of Vets and RVNs, with the opportunity to participate in our ECCelerate programme or ECC cert.
We are a Tier 3 accredited Hospital who provide only the highest standards of care to our patients. Our practice is fantastically well equipped with all the usual tech, tools and toys that we need to do high quality clinical work.
Our team is made up of 17 fantastic veterinary surgeons, all with varying interests and skills, meaning we see a large range of interesting cases. Our nursing team is 16 strong and is encouraged to pursue their own interests and professional development. We have a great support team and practice manager who work hard to ensure the practice runs smoothly.
You will be working an annualised contract with a rota of 7 nights & 2 weekend days on over a 4 week period – Salary up to £57,142.85 Pro Rata
What is ECCelerate?
Part of the MiNightVet Academy
Fantastic opportunity to work alongside highly experienced clinicians to develop skills and confidence in ECC
ECCelerated pathway course will be over a two-year period, where you will working alongside an experienced OOH Vet whilst attending dedicated Continued Professional Development (CPD) days and online training, supporting the development of your clinical ECC skills.
You will not be working as sole charge as will have support, but we will develop your confidence to work towards being sole charge.
What makes me eligible?
Be 4 years post qualification
Confident in abdominal and routine surgeries
Have experience in consulting
A keen interest in developing and gaining experience in an ECC setting
