We have an opportunity for a Small Animal GP Veterinary Surgeon to join us at our Rotherham Hospital on a fixed term contract. We can even accommodate a consultations only role if that's what you would prefer.
Rota: 40 hours a week. Across 4 days. We can be flexible so please get in touch to discuss options.

Life at Springfield Vets Rotherham Hospital
We are a friendly, forward-thinking 24-hour hospital, staffed overnight by our own dedicated out-of-hours team to ensure continuity of care. Our RCVS-accredited hospital is rated “Outstanding” and was the second practice in the UK to achieve all six “Outstanding” awards after their introduction.
Our facilities were significantly enhanced in May 2022, including the addition of a CT scanner, allowing us to offer a high level of diagnostic capability in-house.
Our team comprises 15 vets and 22 nurses, including Advanced Practitioners in cardiology, ECC, surgery, and medicine, who work alongside a strong group of experienced GPs. We foster a highly collaborative environment, with regular case discussions, skill sharing, and supportive teamwork across all levels.
We prioritise continuous improvement and team involvement, holding regular team and clinical governance meetings where everyone is encouraged to contribute ideas.
