The County Vet Group Sandbach practice have a new position for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their fantastic team.
All clinical interests are welcome. We are managed at a local level by our Clinical Director of 16 years, Practice Manager and supported by two amazing Senior Vets. We maintain a family feel where patients and our people are at our heart of everything we do.
Rota: 30 - 40 hours a week across 3- 4 days. No Sundays or Bank holidays. We are open to part time applications so if this is your preference please get in touch! Relocation Package can be considered for those moving to the area.

Life at County
Based in Sandbach, a pretty market town in the heart of Cheshire, filled with historic sights, idyllic countryside views and modern amenities. We have a caseload that allows our teams to develop! The team at Sandbach comes with a varied skill level, where everyone really has the chance to shine. Where required, we make use of visiting specialists to keep the experience in house with an aim to grow and develop talent within our team. This also helps keep our clients bonded and allows us that continuity of care.
We have laparoscopic kit, brand new digital x-ray, dental x-ray with processor and lots of other bits and bobs to make day to day life and work up of your cases easier. You will be working alongside an experienced and supportive nursing team and a number of vets, including two Senior Vets, cert holders in medicine & dentistry, and nurses with certifications. We also deliver acupuncture services. So, there is plenty of support in those areas.
Development of our people is important, and we'd be keen to support you with any areas of interest. Anyone looking at or working on a surgical certificate would complement the team very well. We are blessed to be supported by an OOH provider and have no Sunday or Bank Holiday working.
We have visiting specialists from Orthopaedic to Soft Tissue to Cardiology and have access to our Group's Support Clinical Hub Network of advanced practitioners to help increase the clinical knowledge of our Vets and Vet Oracle, our Vet-to-Vet Telemedicine service.
